I can never get over how fantastic the Givenchy Fall 2009 couture collection is. The collection might be two years old, but in never stops to amaze me. Riccardo Tisci was clearly influenced by the Middle East, and that can be seen in the gold burqas and the white transparent Kafiya print in the finale. The collection has some sci-fi elements in the exaggerated shapes, bondage sleeves, and the beautiful spiked crowns. Here are some fabulous detail shots of the collection courtesy of Tommy Ton.
