One of the major trends seen in the New York collections is embellishment, and it has spread across the pond to London. The embellishment trend this season is not a traditional take on embroidery and beading, but it's about cutting and pasting different textures together to create modern looks. London based designers are using innovate techniques with sheer materials and cutting out material to expose some skin, which I find to be provocative yet tasteful.
