The clothes at the Viktor & Rolf Spring-Summer 2013 show evoked 1930s Hollywood glamour, but the hair and makeup had Art Nouveau written all over it. Whenever I look at the women in Art Nouveau posters they are wearing Grecian style dresses, which was the style of much of the 1930s dresses. Trends are always going back to older trends, and those trends also have some historical reference.
